Materials Worked

Our highly versatile painting capabilities accommodate a variety of materials to suit different customer needs. We are capable of painting parts up to 40 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 9 feet tall. The most common materials we finish (but not limited to) are:

Whether a customer needs a new custom component made in our manufacturing facility or has existing equipment that requires our fiberglass, plastic, or metal painting services, we are happy to paint, finish, and transport it with the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Pre-Finishing Capabilities

Adequate pre-finishing is key to achieving a quality paint finish. Our pre-finishing equipment and services include:

GFS Dust Collection Booth: Safe, controlled environment surface preparation (sanding, grinding & blasting) applications
Renegade Parts Washing System: Top quality automatic heavy duty parts washing system used for general and industrial cleaning needs
Wedge Clamp System Anti-Static Guns: Efficiently removes static from substrate that can cause surface imperfections so the end result is a superior and consistent paint finish
Custom Masking: Increases the accuracy and efficiency of a painting operation by employing masks cut into custom shapes and sizes
Abrasive Blasting: Uses abrasive materials such as sand or beads to remove surface flaws, old paint, rust, and other imperfections from the workpiece
Grinding Welds: Employs a grinder to remove deep scratches and grinding marks and smooth edges to create an even surface
Smoothing of Rough Castings: Sands and files coarse material around the edges of rough castings to achieve an unblemished surface
Filling Imperfections: Employs a variety of materials to fill deeper imperfections and scratches to create a smooth and consistent surface

Painting Capabilities

Once the surface of a workpiece is thoroughly prepared, we proceed to the painting stage. This stage can include priming, painting, coating, air drying, and baking. For these operations, we employ the following equipment:

GFS Paint Booths: Enclosures specially engineered to prevent the intrusion of contaminants or atmospheric conditions that can affect painting and coating applications
GFS Batch Process Ovens: Our paint booths double as industrial process ovens designed for drying, curing, baking or preheating needs
Graco ProMix 2KE Plural Component Finisher: A computerized and automated high-pressure painting services system
SATA Paint Systems: Complete line of pressure pots, spray guns and cup systems to ensure consistent and reliable high-pressure paint application

Depending on the needs of the customer, we apply urethane or two-component primers. Our industrial paint coating capabilities include:

Value-Added Services

In addition to our pre-finishing and painting capabilities, we also offer a range of component finishing services to meet the specific needs of our customers. Our value-added services include:

Testing. Our onsite testing capabilities ensure the finished product meets all project specifications.
Wet sanding and buffing (Class A Finish). Our wet sanding and buffing capabilities ensure the surface finish is consistent with customer and industry specifications.
Custom packaging and shipping. We offer a full range of custom packaging and shipping services, including employing custom-designed racking systems, pallets, and foam packing materials to ensure the safe and secure transport of painted and finished components.
Custom assembly. We can assemble a variety of products, including frames, carts, racking systems, structural components, and removable store fronts, among many others.
