Welding & Fabrication Services

Precision Fabrication. Single-Sourced Solutions.

At Chapter 2 Incorporated, we provide a full portfolio of fabrication services, acting as your single-source solution for all your project needs.

Welding is a common practice in a broad range of manufacturing, construction, and other industrial settings. Welding is one of many fabrication processes. Fabrication is a broader term that refers to any number of manufacturing processes used to create a final product, such as prototyping, cutting, machining, or assembly.

We have the flexibility to drill, mill, and saw metals up to 25 feet long and wide, weighing up to 2,000 pounds, with a minimum tolerance of +/- 0.002 inches. Our Natchi 6-axis robot and Accustream waterjet technology can cut through intricate designs with pressures up to 60,000 psi, even on non-metal materials.

Types of Welding

Our welding specialists at Chapter 2 Incorporated provide three types of welding services. We’ll work with you to determine which process is best for your specific application.

Also known as Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), this process continuously feeds a metal wire into the join area. An electric arc melts the wire to create a weld pool that joins the two objects. This method is efficient and versatile.

TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode and an inert gas (like helium or argon) to create a pristine welding environment. It’s an ideal method for precise, high-quality welds on thinner materials and can be used with or without a separate filler material. This method, sometimes called Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), is often automated.

This term refers to any welding process performed by a robot. We use advanced components like controllers, sensors, and positioners to ensure repeatable, precise, and highly reliable welds.

Specializing in Aluminum Welding

Aluminum welding requires a delicate touch. Aluminum has a lower melting point than steel and heats and cools slowly, making it easy to overheat the workpiece. Our TIG welding process provides the precise current control needed to weld aluminum without compromising the material, ensuring a quality result. We have the expertise to handle this specialized process, so you can be confident your aluminum project is in good hands

Other Metal Fabrication and Assembly Services

Beyond welding, Chapter 2 Incorporated offers a full suite of fabrication and assembly services. Our capabilities include:

  • Custom and Production Assembly: From start to finish, we can handle the full assembly of your products.
  • Cutting and Machining: We offer a range of cutting solutions, including shearing, plasma cutting and torching, to create the precise parts you need.
  • Prototyping & Custom Fabrication: Supported by advanced CAD software, we can quickly generate customized, turnkey solutions. Whether you have an idea for a fixture or need guidance on the best way to hold a part, our expertise will take the stress out of the design phase and assist with one-off manufacturing needs.
